8. R.C. Gorman "Madonna & Child. In 1981 the Christmas Shop in Old Town asked renown artist R.C. Gorman to do an original painting of his interpretation of "the nativity". We made a number of prints from this beautiful, exclusive painting. These prints are approximately 30 1/2" X 22 1/4". This is an exclusive, solely painted for the Christmas Shop in Old Town. It is one of his finest prints.

10. The last couple of years, New Mexico has lost one of its master Santeros, Ben Ortega. His legacy especially of the 5' to 6' wood carvings of St. Francis are in museums and galleries around the world. His sons, daughter and Grandson, thank goodness are carrying on his tradition. Louise Ortega does beautiful carved angels in the Ortega family style. Angel is approximately 6" X 5 " Price $18.00
Many years ago the Christmas Shop in Old Town had a wonderful carpenter, David Gallegos, who helped us around the shop. One day he brought in a lovely carved replica of the San Felipe de Neri church here in Old Town. We loved it and encouraged him to do as many of the mission churches as possible.
